The House That Dirt Built

Bath’s very own purveyors of dirty blues and filth ridden rock’n’roll, The Heavy are dropping their new long-player ‘The House That Dirt Built‘ on Counter Records in a few weeks to follow up their 2007 debut ‘Great Vengeance and Furious Fire‘.

When the juke joints and whore houses in hell run dry and James, Bonzo, Jimi, Chester and the devil himself ain’t done with the evening ‘The House That Dirt Built’ can be heard pumping from the system in their ’66 Impala as they weave their way across town to re-up at the liquor store!. It’s Heavy, believe!

The Heavy are hosting a release party at the Hoxton Bar & Grill on Thursday 1 October with talk of a rooftop pool afterparty somewhere in Shoreditch… On the subject of talk, there are rumours of a Bristol gig with LA’s Breakestra on 26 November at Metropolis… You heard it here first!
